Our Lymington Dune Limestone Organic Paving captures the same beautiful essence of our classic Lymington Dune limestone but with an artisanal, freeform spirit. Each piece is broken to create irregular, jagged shapes, then tumbled to give beautiful textured surfaces and softened, weathered edges. This creates a stunning, mosaic-like effect when laid. Perfect for country, period, and coastal properties – this would not look out of place in the grandest of stately homes or a villa in Skiathos.
The acid-etched finish creates beautiful subtle dimples and texture on the stone’s surface and maintains the attractive mottled colour on this light beige cream stone. Being a natural Egyptian limestone, this paving is full of light fossils and crystals, with each unique piece contributing to the overall tapestry.
Its colour and texture lend themselves perfectly to swimming pool surrounds or indoor-outdoor projects seeking a high-end, Mediterranean feel. After being sawn and acid-etched in the quarry, each piece is broken and tumbled to antique the surface and round the edges, giving a wonderfully bohemian look.
A flatter finish than our sandstone range, our limestone splits cleanly – leaving flatter paving pieces with less ridges and markings, but still with plenty of texture. Imported directly from Egypt, this stone is very water-resistant and proves a hard-wearing, long-lasting paving option. However, as it is a limestone, this stone is sensitive to acidic chemicals and will fade in colour slightly over time unless regularly treated with a suitable enhancer.
Available in irregular broken pieces for a close-set, mosaic pattern that brings a touch of the Mediterranean coast or an Australian boho feel to any project.
