Description

Our Balmer Brown Wood Effect Porcelain Paving is a deep brown porcelain plank inspired by contemporary wood decking. A wonderful alternative to perishable wood decking. Our porcelain paving is hugely durable and thanks to its near impermeable construction very resistant to staining, mould and mildew, unlike a lot of timber and composite deck alternatives. This means a patio made of this modern material is easy to clean and stays looking as new with little maintenance. Balmer Brown complements design schemes that require the colour of wood to contrast with paving areas consisting of other materials. The natural chocolate brown tone also works beautifully next to lawn and planting areas. It mimics the grain and texture of wood incredibly well and can be used to create ‘deck’ areas or ‘rooms’ within a garden that feel a little more separate from other paved terraces. Due to porcelain paving’s straight geometric edges this paving option can create wonderfully contemporary looking spaces. Many clients go for narrow joints that are 5mm to enhance the modern aesthetic. Porcelain paving is a great option for those that are time crunched but don’t want to sacrifice on style. Available in 1200mm x 300mm single size slabs. As with all our porcelain paving this tile has an anti-slip surface rated to R11 standard.
