Our Kimmeridge Fossil Porcelain Paving is a white beige coloured ceramic outdoor tile with a varied mottled design inspired by the patina of a beautifully worn Portland limestone paver. This slab also features a natural stone like texture, fossils and a tumbled & wavy edge detail for full limestone flag looks but porcelain resistance to staining and fading. This porcelain paving tile also features an R11 grip surface unlike some of the smoother limestones on which this tile’s design is based. Full of stone like features this is a truly premium paving option. Our porcelain paving is hugely durable and thanks to its near impermeable construction very resistant to staining, mould and mildew. This means a patio made of this modern material is easy to clean and stays looking as new with little maintenance. Kimmeridge Fossil Porcelain complements modern and more heritage or traditional schemes due to its pale neutral colour, fairly flat surface and wavy or curved edge. You can utilise the size of your pointing gaps to influence how rustic your paved area appears – tighter joins for something that will look more contemporary or wider pointing gaps for a more heritage feel. With this outdoor tile you get the best characteristics of both porcelain and stone – it seamlessly combines the ease of maintenance of porcelain but the beautiful varied texture and characterful edges of a premium Portland limestone costing several times the price. Due to the curved wavy edge of this tile it is advised not to use spacers but lay this more like a traditional flagstone with a handout edge. It’s also advised to put a slight curve or wave in any cuts to continue the natural look of this tile. Available in 900mm x 600mm single size slabs. As with all our porcelain paving this tile has an anti-slip surface rated to R11 standard.
