Our Lymington Dune Limestone paving is a beautiful natural limestone paving slab that exudes premium style. Sawn flat this stone paver is acid etched and then tumbled to give a beautiful lightly textured finish that would look as lovely in a large country house as it would a modern town garden. The acid etched finish creates beautiful subtle bumps in the stone’s surface and creates an attractive mottled colour on this light beige cream coloured stone. Being a natural Egyptian limestone this paving option is full of light fossils and crystals. It’s colour and texture lends itself well to swimming pool builds or indoor-outdoor projects seeking a stone that looks high-end. After being sawn and acid etched in the quarry this stone’s edges are slightly tumbled to antique the surface and round the edges and give a worn heritage style look. Perfect for country and period properties – this would not look out of place in the grandest of stately homes. A flatter finish than our sandstone range, our limestone splits cleanly – leaving flatter paving stones with less ridges and markings but still with plenty of texture. Imported directly from Egypt this stone is very water resistant and proves a hard wearing, long lasting paving option. However as it is a limestone this stone is sensitive to acidic chemicals and will fade in colour slightly as time goes on unless regularly treated with a suitable enhancer. Available in mixed patio sizes for a more period style look or single large sizes for something slightly more contemporary.
