Our Lymington Dusk Limestone paving is a beautiful natural limestone paving slab that exudes elegant style. Sawn flat this stone paver is distressed and then tumbled to give a beautiful textured finish that mutes the colour of the stone but in places brings out warm swages of red and sandy tones. Hence the name ‘dusk’. The process of distressing the surface provides a reasonably grippy texture and also makes this limestone look very similar to the famous Jura Beige Limestone of Europe. A wonderful alternative ti Jura. Being a natural Egyptian limestone this paving option is full of light fossils, calcite lines and crystals. Its colour and texture lends itself well to swimming pool builds or indoor-outdoor projects seeking a stone that has a premium look and feel. The lightly tumbled edges add character and a heritage feel meaning this stone looks right in both contemporary and heritage style builds. Perfect for country and period properties – this would not look out of place in the grandest of stately homes. However due to its fairly flat overall surface it also works beautifully in modern properties looking for the charm of real stone. A flatter finish than our sandstone range, our limestone splits cleanly – leaving flatter paving stones with less ridges and markings but still with plenty of texture. Imported directly from Egypt this stone is very water resistant and proves a hard wearing, long lasting paving option. However as it is a limestone this stone is sensitive to acidic chemicals and will fade in colour slightly as time goes on unless regularly treated with a suitable enhancer.
