Our Lymington Grey Limestone paving is a beautiful natural stone paving slab that exudes luxury. It has a sawn flat semi-honed surface with a mid-grey colour tone and incredible markings and veins that are typical of this type of Egyptian limestone paver. After being sawn in the quarry this stone’s edges are slightly tumbled to antique the surface and round the edges and give a worn heritage style look. Perfect for country and period properties – this would not look out of place in the grandest of stately homes. A flatter finish than our sandstone range, our limestone splits cleanly – leaving flatter paving stones with less ridges and markings but still with plenty of texture. Imported directly from Egypt this stone is very water resistant and proves a hard wearing, long lasting paving option. However as it is a limestone this stone is sensitive to acidic chemicals and will fade in colour as time goes on unless regularly treated with a suitable enhancer. Available in mixed patio sizes for a more period style look or single large sizes for something slightly more contemporary.
