Our Winsor Black Limestone is a stylish natural paving option with black and very dark grey tones. A flatter finish than our sandstone range, our limestone splits cleanly – leaving flatter paving stones with less ridges and markings but still with plenty of texture. Imported directly from India this stone is very water resistant and proves a hard wearing, long lasting paving option. Winsor Black Limestone is a popular choice for creating chic contemporary patios and goes well with red brick houses as well as those in contrasting white. If unsealed this natural stone fades in time to a silver grey finish which tends to make it look more akin to an English Heritage stone. If you’d like to keep this stone as black as possible we recommend treating it periodically with a suitable stone sealant- speak to our knowledgeable sales team for options on this. Available in mixed patio packs for a boho cottage look or single large sizes for something a little more formal.
Please note that this stone, although very strong once laid, is a little more susceptible to breaking in transit than other types of stone and you should allow 5% or so additional wastage on your order to allow for this.
