Bungalow Garden Transformation Using Tumbled Limestone in The New Forest

We recently got out with the drone to capture some finished shots of a stunning design and build by the team over at Paul Cass Landscapes in Totton, The New Forest. Paul and his team had quite the project on their hands as this was a complete garden renovation starting with what can be best described as a blank canvas and at worst a dilapidated and very neglected garden wasteland!

Before - Bungalow Garden Renovation in The New Forest
Before work began…!

Upon consulting with the clients Paul came up with a garden design in keeping with the vision they wanted. The brief was to create a garden with rustic charm and a tinge of influence from East Asia incorporating the buddha statue they already owned and a new slate rock water feature somehow. With this in mind Paul designed the hard landscapes to feature circles as a theme and used this ethos throughout the scheme. Curved lines feature in the rustic brick path that connects the two flagstone terraces with the circle theme continuing with a circular raised terrace and an elegant surround with decorative cobbles for the water feature.

As for the paving choice, Paul wanted to use our Blissford Tumbled Limestone for this build. This limestone works really well in modern and heritage style design schemes due to the combination of flat’ish surface texture, mellow colour palette and wonderfully antiqued tumbled edges. As it’s a limestone it’s also less absorbent than sandstone so it’s a little easier to clean. We think the end result is a beautiful space that’s perfect for entertaining, outdoor living and enjoying the sound of that water feature.

Paul Cass Landscapes did a fantastic job and the Limestone Paving he recommended from you guys is perfect……the light in the garden bounces back off the colours…..its always optimistic looking and inviting out there now!
Thanks all, a top job with quality paving that is the same quality as Paul’s work……
